The journey of Indi Roots began not in a studio, but through a personal search for comfort. For years, I found myself looking for clothing that felt beautiful yet effortless to wear. Many garments looked attractive but lacked comfort, breathability, and connection to the people who made them. This search led me deeper into India's textile traditions.
Travelling through artisan communities, visiting workshops, and experiencing the remarkable craftsmanship of regions such as Bhuj, Jaipur, Sanganer, and Bagru transformed my understanding of clothing. I discovered fabrics that carried stories, techniques preserved through generations, and artisans whose work deserved a wider audience.
